Article II

Mission & Purpose

Not organized for profit — all proceeds directly benefit the EHS Basketball Program.

1Support, promote & enhance the Basketball Program
2Financial assistance for travel, tournaments & other needs
3Foster school spirit, community involvement & sportsmanship
4Organize fundraising, events & volunteer support
Shall not interfere with coaching decisions, player selection, or playing time.
Article III

Membership

Parents, guardians, alumni & community members can join
Dues-paying members may hold office & vote
No authority to make decisions without Executive Board consent

Meetings

Monthly

Elections & Terms

One member per family on Executive Committee
Candidate statement due 3 days before election

3 consecutive missed meetings without approval = dismissal

Minimum 3 quotes required before any expenditure approval

Deposit Timeline

All collected funds must be deposited within 2 business days

Article IX & X

Transitions & Amendments

Outgoing board provides smooth transition + all documentation
Each outgoing member meets with successor
Bylaws amended by majority vote with quorum
On dissolution: assets placed in trust for EHS Basketball
Article VIII

Executive Board Powers

Budget period: July 1 – June 30 each year
May exercise powers between general meetings
Cannot act contrary to membership direction
Must report all actions to general membership
